    Exxonmobil Chemical Company Announces Product Distribution Agreement with Channel Polymers

    HOUSTON, Jun 18, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Ethylene Elastomers Business of ExxonMobil Chemical Company announced that it has signed an agreement with Channel Polymers to become the distributor for ExxonMobil Chemical's commercial Vistalon(R) Ethylene Propylene Diene Rubber -- EP(D)M products in the United States and Canada.

    "This arrangement confirms our commitment and focus on increasing sales and customer service support," stated Jim McKinley, manager, Ethylene Elastomers-Americas, ExxonMobil Chemical. "We are very pleased with this agreement and value the marketing and sales expertise Channel Polymers brings to this relationship."

    David Skoczen, general manager Channel Polymers stated that, "This agreement will provide customers with enhanced sales coverage, local inventories for just-in-time delivery along with the ability to purchase Vistalon(R) EP(D)M with other rubber and plastic products for one-stop shopping."
