The government of the eastern province of Shandong will stage talks on chain store development in July in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, according to government sources.
The talks will be held during governor Li Chunting's visit to Hong Kong SAR and are aimed at promoting chain stores in the province.
Shandong will arrange for provincial enterprises and companies to hold cooperative talks with chain stores and large supermarkets of Hong Kong during the period.
